Many people think of Arizona as a dry, arid, sandy place. This is far from the truth. Arizona is actually quite verdant, especially in the spring, although there is a years-long drought going on.

Arizona has beautiful places like the Grand Canyon, Painted Desert, the red rocks of Sedona, and deserts filled in spring with blooming cacti and flowers on the desert floor. You’ll see wild horses, burros, and bighorn sheep in the mountains.
